Document Collaboration

The University provides students, staff and faculty with services that enable secure creation, storage and sharing of files using Google Drive. Google Drive enables you to create and share word processing documents, spreadsheets and presentations online, and collaborate with others on group projects.

Another service that has been used for these purposes in the past is Netfiles. In order to eliminate duplicative services and move to the more up-to-date and equally secure Google Drive, Collaboration & Web Content Services’ has announced the retirement of Netfiles.  For more information about the retirement process and alternative file and data storage options, see the Netfiles Retirement Project page

In March of 2015 we announced the planned retirement of Netfiles in April of 2016. Since then, we have met with some Netfiles users who identified critical challenges with migrating some Netfiles content. In response to these concerns, we will delay the Netfiles retirement....
