Recruiting
On-campus interviews
To participate in on-campus interviews, you must register
with the Career Center for Science and Engineering (CCSE) well in advance. If you are a graduating
student, you may begin on-campus interviewing based on the graduation
dates requested by employers. Fall and spring graduates should
begin no later than fall semester. August graduates should begin
no later than spring semester.
If you are seeking an internship or co-op, you should begin
on-campus interviewing the semester before you want to enter a
program.
After registration, you may pursue as many on-campus interviews
as you wish; however, you must meet employer qualifications to
sign up for an interview. All interview schedules are filled based
on employer qualifications, which include major, degree level,
work authorization, graduation date, and possibly your GPA.
To find out which employers are coming to campus, check the campus
recruiting information folders at the front service desk. You
can research information about these prospective employers in
the CCSE Resource Center.
Online job postings
Listings include permanent, full-time positions for graduating
students as well as part-time jobs, internships, and co-operative
education positions for current students. Students respond directly
to employer opportunities by sending a letter of application and
a resume.
If you are not registered with our office,
you may log in as a guest on the eRecruiting Web site.
